Mobile Plant Operator

Mobile Plant Operator – Rainham Salary: £28,509 per annum Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week – Late shift Monday to Thursday 14:00 to 22:00 & Friday 12:00 to 20:00 – 30 minutes break In this role you will be responsible for the day to day working with in the refinement area of the Bio MRF operation. Responsible for ensuring that this section is kept clean and tidy at all times. Responsible for providing light maintenance of equipment. Responsible for plant performance, which may include unblocking blockages within the plant assets. Responsible for the loading and checking of the RDF/SRF fuel via company procedures. Key responsibilities: · Reporting of near misses & safety related incidents · Contribute to the Refinement facility being compliant with environmental permit and fly control measures · Drive multiple pieces of mobile plant within the refinement section · Ensure appropriate PPE is worn · End of shift checks · Conveyor waste monitoring · Mobile Plant level 1 jobs Essential criteria for the role: · Experience of working on a production line · Mobile Plant experience · Understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance. · Good people skills; be able to communicate at all levels · Good organisation/ planning skills Biffa – we’re changing the way people think about waste At Biffa, we love working with waste.
