Day-to-Day Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include: Ownership and management of the group\’s financial tracking processes, including revenue and cost forecasting, monitoring actual performance, and implementing remedial plans. Tracking spend and revenue profiles for projects, and managing the monthly reporting process. Liaising with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Transformation, Risk, and Quality teams as appropriate. Managing group-level risk, including tracking escalations and remedial actions. Financial reporting for R&D, including tracking capitalization and other expenditures. Overseeing small fertilization projects, ensuring quotes are produced, reviewed, issued, and invoiced correctly. Line management and coaching of a team of Project Managers. Participating as a member of the management team to address team or site issues as needed. Who Are We Looking For We seek big thinkers who can drive positive change, demonstrate passion, and have a hunger to learn and grow. In practice, this means: A strong mathematical background with proficiency in financial data management and forecasting. A solid understanding of financial concepts such as profit and loss, costs, and revenue management. Exceptional attention to detail in managing and analyzing substantial customer contracts and financial data. Proven experience using Excel for data management and interpreting detailed data breakdowns. Excellent collaboration and influencing skills to work effectively with finance teams and across departments. Knowledge of the rail or travel industry is a plus but not required.
