ABOUT THE TEAM
This role sits as a Senior Commercial Manager within Tide’s Admin Services team. The Admin Services team is on a mission to save members time on all of the boring administrative parts of running a business, so our members can do more of what they love. Admin Services products include Accounting, Payroll, Expense Management and Company Formation (CoFo) and Secretary services (CoSec). CoFo and CoSec help people set up a Company and then manage their compliance with Companies House. Our CoFo product is market leading and an important acquisition driver for Tide, helping to get members to open a BCA. Our CoSec product is new and will save members hours on staying compliant and up to date with Companies House.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Senior Commercial Manager for Company Formations and Company Secretary services, you will be responsible for the commercial success and GTM strategy of our Company Formation and Company Secretary products. You’ll need to:
- Own the overall commercial and marketing strategy for the products, in order to achieve revenue and product adoption goals.
- Collaborate with Product to build the right features for members, and translate these into member facing propositions that you take to market.
- Co-ordinate GTM for features and launches making sure everything is on track and teams are enabled.
- Develop value propositions and positioning informed by user research, market insights, Tide’s data and your product understanding, and embedding this through product and marketing channels.
- Lead and support commercial discussions, including pricing, business casing and supporting financial forecasting.
- Apply data and research to every decision you make, and ensure this discipline is followed by all stakeholders at every point.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You have 5+ years of experience in Commercial Marketing, experience in Financial Services, Accounting, SMEs or starting our propositions.
- You understand the painpoints of SMEs and running a business.
- You ask ‘why?’, and critically engage with ideas, strategy and proposals, and constructively provide feedback and your points of view.
- You have a data-driven approach to understanding the competitor landscape, trends, product growth opportunities and tracking marketing KPIs/metrics.
- You have driven adoption and scaled a complex product in a fast growing company before, with an appreciation for the nuances of acquisition, activation and retention.
- You have a foundational understanding of CRM, performance marketing and sales enablement, so that you can constructively collaborate with these channels and drive improvements.
- You have built value propositions and positioning for Saas products, including for specific target segments.
- You are comfortable having financial and commercial discussions.
- You are organised, resilient and independent. You take the initiative and enjoy working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch.
