Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at the UK's market leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be delivering exceptional grounds maintenance and winter services for our clients' sites.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Grass and hedge cutting
- Border maintenance
- Clearing leaves
- Spraying
- Litter picking
- Using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery
- Delivering winter services such as gritting, snow clearing, and installing Christmas trees
- Reporting site hazards to management
- Operating vehicles, machinery, and equipment safely
- Undertaking additional training as required
Qualifications and skills:
- Passion for working outdoors
- Ability to work in flexible environments
- Good understanding of smartphone technology
- Previous grounds maintenance experience (desirable but not essential)
- PAI & PA6 spraying license (desirable)
- Full driving license (preferable)
