Print Finisher / Large Format Printer
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Salary: DOE
Company: Leading Large Format and Signage company.
Role: The purpose of this role is to assist within the production team; ensuring jobs are completed on time and to a high standard. The main task is to assist in the production of high-quality large format digital prints where you will be part of the finishing team, operating a guillotine and finishing machines. Ideally you will have experience working in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Setting and running guillotine presses
- Producing large format digital prints
- Operating a Zund
- Laminating, cutting and weeding vinyl
- Applying vinyl to foamex, dibond, acm etc
- Operating large format printers such as Durst, Swiss Q, Epson, Mimaki, Kongsberg finishing machines
- Using software such as Caldera
- Able to maintain a clean and tidy workplace at all times
Requirements
- Large format print experience would be an advantage but would consider small format
- Experience running guillotine machines ideally large
- Experience working within a print manufacturing background
- Flexible attitude to working time
