As Store Manager, you will create a welcoming environment with exceptional customer service and leadership. Your role will champion Whittard, growing the brand locally by encouraging your team to provide customer service that keeps customers returning.

This role requires:

  • Minimum of 3 years retail management experience.
  • Meeting airport security requirements, including:
  • Providing 5 years of employment or education references without gaps.
  • Completing a Criminal Records Bureau Check (fees covered if successful).
  • Having government-approved photographic ID (passport or UK Driving Licence).

Note: The store operates between 03:45 am and 9:15 pm, with varying shift patterns.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing and leading your team in first-class customer service.
  • Becoming an ambassador of our products, offering knowledge and recommendations to customers.
  • Monitoring store KPIs and implementing improvements.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety, Food Safety, cash, delivery, and reporting processes are followed and reviewed.
  • Managing your team’s sickness absences, holidays, and performance.
  • Developing your team with long-term succession strategies, development plans, quarterly reviews, and on-the-spot feedback.
  • Managing visual merchandising in line with Whittard guidelines.
  • Providing feedback on best sellers and stock to head office.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Previous retail management experience.
  • Experience developing and leading high-performing teams, managing store operations, and driving sales.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify problems and implement solutions and improvements.
  • Enthusiasm and interest in our products.
