Role Overview: As an Inspection Engineer (CAT 4), you will be responsible for inspecting pressurized static equipment such as vessels, tanks, piping, and relief devices to meet regulatory and client requirements. You will coordinate with other inspectors during larger shutdowns and collaborate with CAT 2 Inspection Engineers and engineers on repairs and fitness-for-service assessments.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical technician).
- Experience with non-destructive examination techniques (NDT).
- Experience with pressure equipment.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering (desirable sectors: Chemical, Oil & Gas).
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
