The Role

We’re looking to hire a talented Senior Product Engineer with demonstrated expertise in building web apps using modern web technologies from scratch. Our ideal candidate should have a passion for virtual worlds and the interoperable open metaverse, be pragmatic in decision-making, and have experience building for and with customers. You’ll be an integral part of shaping the evolution of our Morpheus Platform product, serving as the bridge between our core platform capabilities and our customers’ project goals. You’ll be responsible for building demonstrably capable solutions with the platform and also be technically accountable for the success of customer projects at a high level.

Why You’re Made For This

• Web Technology Proficiency: You’re experienced in developing with modern web technologies such as creating Next.js apps, developing in Typescript, and deploying to Vercel-like infrastructure. You have spun up multiple web apps from scratch, either professionally or as side projects, and are comfortable with rapid prototyping.
• Collaborative: You possess strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical collaborators, with an ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. You are experienced in gathering feedback and evolving solutions in response to changing requirements.
• Customer Success Oriented: You have proven experience in helping customers build or integrate successfully with a platform product. You’ve managed projects requiring reactive troubleshooting and going above and beyond to ensure success.
• Passionate for Our Space: You are enthusiastic about virtual worlds technology and the future of the open metaverse. You are open to and interested in foundational technologies like blockchains and Web3.

What the Role Involves

• Developing Solutions: Build technical solutions that connect customer creative ambitions with our Morpheus Platform, incorporating feedback swiftly to meet real customer needs and deliver impactful, repeatable value.
• Driving Product: Collaborate with product leadership to develop ideas that improve the Morpheus Platform, balancing business priorities, customer experience, and technical sustainability.
• Enabling Customers: Work directly with customer teams to help them build experiences using Morpheus Platform, ensuring our solutions serve creators and developers effectively. Be responsible for the technical success of customer events and projects.
