We have an exciting opportunity for an Emergency Out of Hours Vet Surgeon to join our OOH service providing exceptional care for our own clients as well as other feeder practices within the area. For this position, we are open to discussing 7 on, 14 off OR 3-4 nights p/w rota patterns (to include weekend hours as well as week days).

Be a Part of our Brand New Referral Hospital. We’re excited to announce the grand opening of our brand-new veterinary facility in Plymouth, set for May/June 2025. This state-of-the-art clinic, located just 1 mile north of the Devon Expressway (A38), is designed to offer an exceptional environment for both first opinion and secondary referral services. Our new facility will be equipped with cutting-edge technology, including Plymouth's very first Veterinary Computed Tomography (CT) machine. This advanced equipment will allow us to provide unparalleled diagnostic capabilities to our patients. The building features dedicated wards for dogs, cats, rabbits, and exotics, ensuring that each species receives specialised, compassionate care in a comfortable and stress-free environment. Multiple procedural spaces, all centered around a spacious prep room, will enhance our ability to perform a wide range of treatments and surgeries with ease. We’ve also made sure our team will have everything they need to work efficiently and comfortably, with a large staff room and office spaces that foster collaboration and well-being.

Join our 24/7 Emergency Service. Our dedicated night team of Vets and Nurses provide the ‘Vetcall’ service for Plymouth between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.30am. A twilight nurse team bridges the day and night teams and we pride ourselves on having dedicated support for worried owners overnight with the Night Nurse and Night Vet remaining on site at all times for inpatient care and any emergencies that may occur. We are looking for someone with a real passion for emergency work and experience in handling surgeries and critical patients. We fully encourage CPD and further qualifications and pride ourselves in fostering a learning environment for all staff to be able to reach their full potential.
