Our client is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join their team in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Reporting to the Graphic Designer and Business Developer Manager, the role is to drive the business forward with exciting and well thought out designs, both online and with print content. You will work on a broad range of projects, from digital work covering web design, video creation, email campaigns, and social media/web graphics, through to print and marketing materials, as well as having the chance to work on company merchandise for external exhibitions and supporting the organisation and logistics of events. As a graphic designer, you will need to fully understand their brand and be able to embrace everything they stand for.
Requirements:
- Copy Writing and Proof Reading skills are essential.
- Experience as a Graphic Designer in a digital agency or company.
- Adobe Creative Suite skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe XD.
- Skills in PowerPoint presentations.
- Image editing and retouching.
- Excellent typographic and visual skills.
- Experience in designing and managing UI and UX design.
- Good Understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS).
- A knowledge of print processes.
- Product Rendering experience essential – use of Rhino would be a massive advantage.
Advantages (keen to learn):
- Use of After Effects or other animation programs.
- An understanding of HTML and/or CSS.
- A keen eye for product photography.
- A knowledge of 3D and rendering software such as Rhino, 3DS Max and Vray.
- Graphic design: 2 years (preferred).
- Background in lighting product design would be a massive advantage.
