This role provides holiday and sickness cover with a view to being allocated a fixed shift pattern when opportunities arise. Shifts can include Days, Nights and Weekends and may be 12 hours long (7:00–19:00 or 19:00–07:00).
Base pay range

What you will need
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
- A valid SIA Front-Line License – essential
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft software packages (e.g. Excel)
- Confidence to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels
- Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards
What you will do
- Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carry out regular site patrols and document as required
- Brief and sign in visitors and contractors; manage entry and exit of deliveries as per procedures
- Ensure patrols are carried out to required standards
- Set and unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out-of-hours security where applicable
- Comply with site waste management procedures
- Complete required documents including daily occurrence logs, shift handovers, incident/accident records and site-specific reports
- Familiarise yourself with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and other quality and safety documents; advise on changes or improvements
- Maintain training records via Corps Colleague Portal; ensure up-to-date first aid and fire marshal training in line with guidelines
- Demonstrate high professionalism and ensure SIA licence is displayed at all times
- Perform ad hoc duties as directed
