Job Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct Work in Progress (WIP) audits and Post-Completion (PC) inspections on various operational field sites.
- Identify and address non-compliance issues, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards and company guidelines.
- Provide technical support and audit feedback to field teams and supervisors.
- Log findings using digital auditing software like Certainty App or similar tools.
- Recommend quality improvements and lead on corrective actions.
- Carry out health and safety site checks, flag hazards, and report risks.
- Represent management in field-based audit discussions.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety-first attitudes, and regulatory compliance.
- Suggest training opportunities based on field audit insights.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous experience in a field auditor, compliance officer, HSEQ auditor, QA/QC inspector, or site supervisor role.
- Knowledge of UK health & safety standards (HSE) and quality control procedures.
- Comfortable working across multiple UK sites with autonomy.
- Familiar with mobile reporting tools (Certainty, iAuditor, Site Audit Pro).
- Background in utilities, construction, telecoms, engineering, or infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
