As a Lead Engineer, you will work with the management team to facilitate and deliver Mechanical project works whilst nurturing a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of the Mechanical business. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working alongside the leadership team to expand and grow revenue stream and UK opportunities across opex and capex project works.
  • Supporting the leadership team accepting delegated tasks to secure revenue streams whilst effectively managing available labour, to exceed profit plans and expectations.
  • Helping to identify opportunities for new disciplines, new revenue streams or new market sectors that can support adi’s growth strategy.
  • Engineering activities and delivery of all quoted works in conjunction with the wider business.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • A time served trade apprenticeship or qualification within machining, fabricating and/or fitting skills.
  • Experience in generating quotations for customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Can demonstrate Health and Safety Awareness.
  • Capability to produce Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Experience of working in the food and beverage industry.
  • Prior experience of mentoring and training apprenticeship programmes.
