The role
As a Programme Procurement Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to drive transformation, establish new processes, and lead a newly formed team. Oversee key categories including Facilities Management, Plant Hire, and Professional Services. Day-to-day, you’ll drive procurement strategy alignment with Global and Local needs, leading team adoption, fostering cross-functional collaboration, optimising supplier negotiations, and ensuring continuous improvement through performance monitoring.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to align with both Global and Local requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop relationships and understand procurement needs.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts with a focus on adding value in the form of cost, delivery, quality and social value.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with new processes.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of Programme Procurement Manager:
- Extensive previous procurement experience, with a proven ability to lead teams through change.
- Strong leadership and change management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in system implementations and process improvements.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in procurement or supply chain management.
Qualifications for the Programme Procurement Manager:
- CIPS Qualification.
- Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
