We are looking for a Self Employed Professional Photographer to join our Real Estate department covering Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. The role is responsible for photographing our invaluable clients' properties.

This field-based role is most suited to a contractor who is available on a flexible, ongoing basis. Reporting to our Edinburgh based Senior Photographer, you will be responsible for photographing our clients’ properties throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians. As an experienced real estate photographer, you will provide full coverage of each property. Photographs will be taken and processed to an exceptionally high standard, together with a floorplan (sketch only) to be digitised by our team, and images for our 360 tour host service.

As a representative of MOV8 Real Estate, you will present a professional image, possess excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy meeting and working with the public, and have a well-developed customer service ethos. The ideal candidate will need full-time access to their own vehicle and a full, clean driving license.

Responsibilities
  • Taking high quality photographs following industry standards;
  • Post-processing of images to suit our house style;
  • Taking interior measurements and sketching floor plans;
  • Guiding clients on the presentation of their homes;
  • Ensuring excellent client rapport and customer service.
Requirements
  • Examples of professional real-estate photography taken in the last 18 months, and advertised on well-known websites;
  • Portfolio of work;
  • Professional indemnity/business insurance in place;
  • An interest in and knowledge of property styles and interiors;
  • A nature that is receptive to feedback;
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and a genuine customer-service focus;
  • Own equipment including a 360 camera.

Remuneration

Remuneration is expected to be a set fee per property, increasing with property size, plus payment of mileage and parking expenses. However, experienced applicants are welcomed to provide their own terms for initial discussion. It is expected that the role is a supplementary income to other professional work with volumes depending on the market at the time.
