Essential Functions
- As a Lead Credit Balance Representative, you will be the Subject Matter Expert for the following:
- Researches, validates and approves adjustments and refunds
- Provides training and coaching to credit balance team while maintaining confidentiality
- Confidential presentation of individual credit balance teamβs Quality Assurance (QA) audits
- Timely coordination and resolution of compliance, third-party and audit refund projects
- Assist Credit Balance Leadership in creating and updating department workflows
- Coordination with other departments and Credit Balance Clerical team to ensure checks are printed and processed in a timely manner
- Partner with finance departments to research and complete reconciliation

Physical Requirements:
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Two (2)+ years of experience in hospital or physician back-end insurance related activities (Billing & Follow-Up) required
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required
- Epic systems experience preferred

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $21.20 - $32.26
