Role Overview

We\’re responsible for planning and coordinating the working day of trade operatives to ensure all responsive, planned and cyclical works are appointed to the satisfaction of the customer. In order to plan repairs as efficiently as possible we use our scheduling system Total Mobile Optimise, to ensure our diaries are filled to maximum capacity with minimal travel. Customers are at the heart of everything we do and we’re excited to be looking for a new Scheduling Operations Planner to join our team to make sure our customers continue to receive a service second to none. You\’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating the working day of trade operatives so that our colleagues receive all of the information for them to carry out their works. Ensuring diaries are optimised to maximum capacity with minimal travel, increasing productivity, reducing cost and maintaining outstanding customer service, health and safety prioritisation and vulnerability considerations. You\’ll work collaboratively with all stakeholders including our customers on a daily basis to deliver a seamless service. No two days will be the same in this role so enthusiasm, a can‑do attitude and a genuine passion for always wanting to go the extra mile.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the work diaries of trade operatives, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources and minimised travel time. Liaise with customers, stakeholders and team members to secure clear work instructions and essential information. Analyse work loads, adjust schedules promptly and mitigate any scheduling conflicts. Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and incorporate vulnerability considerations into planning decisions.
