Our client is currently seeking a Biologics Early Process Associate Scientist/Scientist to join a leading biotechnology company based in West London. As the Biologics Early Process Associate Scientist/Scientist, you will be responsible for developing processes to produce biologics-based drugs.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Independently undertake a range of biochemistry techniques to develop biologics drug processes from the bioreactor to the finished drug substance.
- Generate timely purification experiments and conduct independent investigations into bioprocess development.
- Assist with the purification and characterisation of proteins and develop new purification methodologies for Downstream Processing.
- Maintain high standards of record-keeping and documentation, including laboratory notebooks, electronic records, and training materials.
Role Requirements
- Relevant degree in a related field such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a similar discipline.
- Proven industry experience in antibody downstream processing and the use of AKTA systems and chromatography theory.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with process development, process technical transfer, and bioreactors.
