As an Engineer within the Civil Engineering Team, you’ll provide civil expertise to make key engineering decisions. You will be responsible for liaising with and managing a large consultancy and contractor to generate dispatchable, renewable power and create stable energy in an uncertain environment.

You will contribute to the development of strategies to maintain ageing and the construction of new civil assets. You’ll be a key member of the Civil Engineering Team handling engineering enquiries on behalf of the team, including internal departments, sub-contractors, suppliers, and designers, and produce specifications and project scoping documents.
You will need to manage risks against legislative, statutory, corporate, and site policy and procedures, so strong commercial and contract management awareness is essential. As an Engineer, you’ll be responsible for contract work, risk assessments, and the supervision of contractor work.
You should be flexible and able to manage a consultant or design manager for a contractor, coupled with experience in the construction industry managing civil infrastructure and building projects. A relevant university degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
