Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure high standards of Health and Safety and customer care.
  • Develop and promote engaging leisure programs to increase usage and profitability.

  • Assist in financial planning and budget management.
  • Manage the Duty Manager team in the absence of the Centre Manager.
  • Daily tasks include deputizing for the Centre Manager, managing staff, maintaining facilities, ensuring safety compliance, staff training, marketing, and financial management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualifications in Leisure Management, Sports Development, or related fields are preferred.
  • Essential: First Aid at Work, National Pool Lifeguard Qualification; Pool Plant Operators qualification desirable.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Customer and employee-focused mindset.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
  • This role may require a DBS Disclosure, as it is a regulated post.
