Nursery Nurse (Salary: Up to £28,995.20 per annum)

Our 41 place nursery has good transport options and local shops nearby. The nursery was originally built by the Countess of Meath and has an OFSTED rating of “Good”. We promote a home-from-home feel, work closely as a team, and prioritise quality care.

This role is open to those with an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare. If you do not possess a full and relevant qualification or experience within the childcare sector, your application may not be considered.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Working with the team to provide high-quality care for children aged 0-5.
• Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery by adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
• Using knowledge and creativity to plan activities and ideas.
• Building relationships with children and communicating effectively with their parents.
• Making sure every working day is engaging and enjoyable for children.

Your Qualifications and Experience

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (Level 2 acceptable depending on qualifications and experience).
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
• Awareness of planning, observation, and record-keeping for nursery-aged children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
• Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
