We have an exciting new opportunity for a Strategy and Portfolio Analyst to join us! Reporting into the Head of COO Strategy and Portfolio Governance, you'll support the COO strategy and UK and Ireland portfolio by providing quality analysis, formal papers, briefs, insights, updates and presentations for the COO office and stakeholders, as well as AXA UK and Ireland Group stakeholders. You'll also lead on and deliver projects ensuring the COO office Director, Head of COO Strategy and Portfolio Governance have timely analysis, advice and direction on all office activities.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. This role requires the successful candidate to attend our London office at least once a week. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the portfolio prioritization process, strategic annual planning and Group reporting requirements
  • Delivering presentations and solutions to ad-hoc tasks and projects on behalf of COO Office, working with contacts across the business and reporting resolution back
  • Managing the logistics required in strategy and COO Office communications, alongside the Internal Communications team
  • Drafting agendas, facilitating effectiveness and focusing on minutes and actions, coordinating other team interactions to aide outcomes, decision making process and governance
  • Facilitating responses to queries from internal and external stakeholders on behalf of COO Office
  • Participating in COO initiatives and programmes for example COO-wide strategic implementation actions and cost effectiveness programs
  • Managing effective relationships with key stakeholders in COO, AXA UK & Ireland and Group to ensure all key issues are identified and resolved quickly
  • Gathering insights on the portfolio with a focus on transversal investments and Technology, Data and Operational Excellence strategy reporting to Group
