Partner closely with Hiring Managers to attract, engage and select the best talent for the De Beers Brands & Consumer Markets & Corporate Functions for Europe. Ensuring strong relationships with hiring managers by supporting, coaching and providing regular communications on the hiring process. With your extensive experience in recruitment you’ll talent pool and partner with stakeholders. You’ll think, action and advise stakeholders on long term hiring for both business functions. This is a maternity cover contract role for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and implementing the recruitment strategy for each level of role within the business, from attraction and engagement to selection and offer process.
- Build Talent Pool strategy for each area of the business.
- Develop recruitment tools (recruitment ad templates, interview guidelines, onboarding tools).
- Continuously look for new and innovative ways to improve the recruitment process to adapt to growing business demands.
- Deliver (and continually review) a consistently professional experience for candidates, and one that endorses the De Beers brand and proposition.
- Reviewing monthly and quarterly recruitment data to continually improve the TA process and to support the TA strategy.
- Plan and attend industry specific events that will increase our reach to future talent.
- Build and maintain relationships with University Alumni’s to build talent pools and introduce De Beers as an employer of choice.
- Use social channels to maintain high direct sourcing success.
- Work alongside HR, to ensure own and wider HR service teams’ awareness of impending recruitment activity, putting in place appropriate resources as required.
- Coach recruiting managers to ensure candidates receive an exceptional experience, and that the selection criteria are appropriate to the required outcome.
- Take ownership of all recruitment briefs in your remit ensuring that these are fully completed by line managers, and that all necessary supporting infrastructure is in place.
- Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and manage the PSL.
- Manage end to end recruitment process, including writing job descriptions, selecting recruitment methods, advertising roles, screening CV's, conducting interviews, offer management and feedback ensuring a positive candidate experience from application to offer/decline.
- Tracking and monitoring all internal and external interview outcomes for your remit.
- Partnering with the stakeholders to support them with their resourcing needs; both immediate and future.
- Providing a comprehensive end-to-end recruitment service to the business.
- Providing advice and guidance to hiring managers on resourcing best practice; the most appropriate selection and testing methods available for a role.
- Challenge self and others to seek out more cost effective, bespoke and targeted attraction channels that progressively assure the relevance of our recruitment campaigns relevant outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, internal teams and suppliers ensuring alignment, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Work with the People Services team to issue all offer documentation and ensure that all screening is completed at the earliest appropriate point, tracking and providing appropriate updates as required.
- Assure De Beers approach to on-boarding is continually relevant, reviewing this through feedback and wider best practices across the business.
Qualifications:
- CIPD qualification desirable but not essential.
- A background and knowledge of recruiting roles across all levels.
- Demonstrable experience within a luxury retail, international, fast pace environment would be highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
- Proven success in using direct sourcing methods to minimise agency usage.
- Experience using Social media tools in a Recruitment context – e.g. LinkedIn.
- Thrives on a fast-paced environment and flexible and adaptable to change.
- Ability to build strong relationships across the business.
- Strong coaching, influencing and negotiating skills.
