HealthNet Homecare are specialists in delivering homecare services for patients, from medical deliveries to nursing support for patients in their own homes. Working with over 180,000 patients across numerous different therapy areas, our dedicated team offer support to patients with rare and orphan diseases right through to more common conditions. We are looking for a highly motivated, talented and experienced IT professional to complement our industry leading Digital IT Department as an IT Systems Engineer. Reporting to the IT Manager you will form an integral part of the IT Infrastructure Team in taking ownership of issues escalated to 3rd line support and delivery of key infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have prior experience of operating in a similar role. They will be expected to lead on developing and scaling HealthNet’s Virtual and physical Infrastructure using best of breed technology ensuring a performant and secure implementation is adhered to. Specific projects include, but are not limited to; Azure Re-architecture best practice Framework, Unified Endpoint Management, Autopilot, SASE implementation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading the delivery of complex technical projects within Azure and On Premise network architecture.
  • Planning, managing and delivering infrastructure changes from concept to transition into support.
  • Working within a defined methodology delivering documentation such as HLD, LLD, implementation documents and knowledgebase articles.
  • Driving improvement and innovation, challenging current technologies, processes and behaviours.
  • Ensuring availability, integrity and confidentiality of IT Infrastructure services to meet agreed SLAs and KPIs are achieved.
  • Acting as an escalation point for Help Desk honoring 3rd line support duties.
  • Undertaking all activities with a primary focus on risk mitigation and data security.
  • Ensuring systems are implemented adhering to strict policies and processes to ensure systems remain compliant after project completion.
  • Working with third party partners to deliver projects.
  • Building a strong working relationship with colleagues within the Infrastructure Team and the wider IT Digital function.
  • Work flexible shifts to ensure IT coverage for core business hours – 07:00 to 19:00 Mon-Fri and occasional weekends.
  • Form part of an on-call team to cover outside of business hours for critical systems.

What experience and skills are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics365 (Field Service/Business Central) and MS Navision.
  • Minimum 3 years experience designing, configuring and supporting Microsoft suite of products: Windows Desktops (win10 & 11), Windows server (2016, 2019 & 2022), Microsoft 365 suite inc. Teams, SharePoint etc., MS Co-pilot.
  • Microsoft Azure, EntraID, AD Connect, SSO MFA, IaaS, PaaS & SaaS Azure best practice frameworks.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Creating IACs using either Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
  • Solid understanding of the benefits of designing, delivering and maintaining systems in a secure manner.
  • Solid understanding of Azure and on-prem networking including subnets, routing, diagnostics.
  • Ability to use creativity and innovation to automate and streamline processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex tasks using available resources, as needed.
  • Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications such as MCP/MCSA/MCSE.
  • Ability to develop and sustain a professional relationship with the various departments in the business.
  • Well-honed negotiation and communication skills with a flexible approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of building, developing, and maintaining a positive working environment.
  • Self-motivated, dedicated with a committed approach showing interest in understanding the business and industry.
  • Proactive and motivated responding positively to new challenges.
  • Ability to work under extreme pressure whilst maintaining composure.
