We are seeking an experienced VFX Producer to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success. This individual will help drive sales for the division and maintain ongoing client relationships and is expected to oversee the day-to-day smooth operations of feature and episodic VFX projects from inception through delivery. An ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with extreme attention to detail and the ability to motivate and manage a team of artists.
Responsibilities:- Produce the team as needed in all areas of project management.
- Schedule, bid, actualize, and invoice for all Feature and Episodic VFX work.
- Oversee VFX budgets, schedules and resource planning in collaboration with VFX Supervisors.
- Enter and track work orders, following up with artists to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Create shot lists, proactively track shots and client notes ensuring the greatest possible client experience.
- Schedule both artists’ time and bookings for internal and external projects.
- Track internal time and all direct and external expenses for the department, on a job-by-job basis.
- Actualize projects throughout the post process and upon delivery to ensure accurate invoicing and efficient use of staff and freelance time.
- Predict possible scheduling conflicts and work with the production and operations teams to prevent the occurrence.
- Effectively communicate with clients, artists, and the sales team on a regular basis to ensure management of project deadlines and budget expectations.
- Respond to client queries and requests in an efficient and timely manner.
- Distribute information to VFX and Editorial team members, including media from color and flame department.
- Work closely with editorial and color producers to ensure seamless client experience.
- Liaise with client services to ensure expectations are met for all client-attended sessions.
- Other duties, as required and assigned.
- Experience as VFX Producer and advanced understanding of post-production workflows.
- Comfortable interfacing with both clients and fellow staff.
- Passion for the creative process and is enthusiastic to work with creatives and artists.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, CETA, ShotGrid, Google Apps, Box, etc.
- Sales experience is a plus.
