We are looking to recruit a talented pool of experienced teachers from September 2025 to work in short-term and long-term roles with Hays.
Having consistency in terms of Supply Teachers has many benefits for local children in terms of academic progress and emotional wellbeing. You will be part of a dynamic and flexible team who build relationships with local schools, pupils, parents, and governors, providing regular supply options for EYFS / KS1 / KS2 provision. Your new role: You will be required to undertake Teaching Responsibilities in line with the school day and plan accordingly for your class(es) in line with curriculum expectations. You will need to make strong bonds quickly, and you must be able to engage students in a creative and initiative framework. Having good personal and professional standards is also required alongside a willingness to engage with the school calendar as appropriate. You will need to be enthusiastic and energetic in connection with the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 frameworks. You will also be required to track and monitor progress as required by your new school.
What you'll need to succeed:
- QTS status and Teaching Experience.
- A working knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- A fun and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Ability to develop good working practices with staff and students.
- Be able to provide a placement and university reference.
- DBS on update service preferred.
- Recent experience in a classroom-based environment within the last 2 years.
