Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support with learning needs on a 1:1 basis for a Primary School in Saltley, Birmingham.
The school is an OFSTED rated Good mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. They are looking for enthusiastic and nurturing support staff who can develop good relationships with children with additional needs., Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy. The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy. Any adult working with children and vulnerable young people are responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of the children and young people.

In-house Training and Development Team
You will be supporting a year 4 pupil who is currently working at year 1 level. The ideal candidate will have Read Write Inc and intervention experience.
This is a full-time role to start ASAP and will continue for the rest of the academic year.
Previous experience delivering interventions and Read Write Inc programme is essential.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS, Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications
Previous experience working in a UK school – in either permanent or long-term roles
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
