We have a great opportunity for an experienced, small animal Vet to join our close-knit and supportive team. Our vets primarily work at one of our 2 larger sites but spend some of their time at a second branch allowing you the opportunity to work-up your cases and create a bonded relationship with clients but still have a varied caseload.

Work life balance that works for you. We would welcome both full or part-time applicants. Typically, the hours for this role are 40 hours over 4 days per week, Monday - Friday, plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. We encourage our staff to have a good work-life balance, therefore we are happy to discuss flexibility around the working days/hours. There are no out-of-hours associated with this role; however, we occasionally look after our own in-patients. Clinicians are responsible for in-patient treatment checks which are optional and paid for.

We are a very well-established, 100% small animal RCVS accredited practice. We are located right next to the beautiful South Downs National Park and less than 1 hour from the coast. There is easy access to London via train and all our sites are within an hour's drive of Gatwick and Heathrow airport. We have three surgeries serving the communities around Alton, Bordon, and Grayshott. We continually strive for excellence in management, medicine, surgery, and diagnostics. We believe in a service that enriches and lengthens the special relationship between people and their pets.

Both our Alton and Bordon clinics are well equipped to allow surgical work, case work-ups, and hospitalisation of patients. The facilities include:

  • Separate cat and dog wards
  • Excellent ultrasound equipment including cardiac probes
  • Idexx VetLab stations for same-day haematology, biochemistry, and electrolytes
  • Digital radiography
  • High-speed dental handpieces and digital dental radiography at Bordon
  • Dedicated theatres for surgical work

Grayshott is our smallest clinic, based in the centre of a picturesque village. We currently only offer consultations at our Grayshott practice.

Working in a Vet practice is a big part of our lives, and we want to enjoy coming in to work and to feel appreciated by colleagues and clients. We have a supportive and committed team of 1 Clinical Director, 6 Vets, 5 RVNs, 1 SVNs, and 7 Receptionists in our 3 well-equipped surgeries on the Hampshire/Surrey border. We also have a visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon for the more challenging surgical cases.

Our Clinical Director, Annedine, joined us from South Africa initially as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2010, progressing to CD in 2023. Annedine has a strong interest in Veterinary Medicine and is super supportive of the whole team. We offer a vibrant workplace where you will be joining an enthusiastic and motivated team.
