Senior Finance Analyst

Due to internal promotion, our Finance Team is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst. This role will support the Assistant Head of FP&A and serve as the \’go-to\’ person for financial analysis and reporting.

This position is hybrid, requiring presence at our Lichfield office twice a week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of management accounts, investor reports, presentations, compliance certificates, and CQC Market Oversight reporting.
2. Payroll analysis and reporting, liaising with FBPs and MDs to understand key trends and drive improvements in data integrity and performance.
3. Regular reporting for the Executive Committee and senior managers.
4. Supporting maintenance of the budgeting & reporting system (Prophix).
5. Preparing financial analyses to enhance operational and financial performance.
6. Compiling information for the Board, directors, and external parties as needed.
7. Supporting corporate initiatives and projects.
8. Driving continual improvement within the finance function.
9. Acting as IT Finance Business Partner.
10. Deputising for the Assistant Head of FP&A during significant finance projects, e.g., refinancing.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workloads effectively, with flexibility and adherence to tight deadlines.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in data modeling with large datasets, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to interpret complex information and present it clearly and simply.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
