Nursing Associate Physical Health in Inpatient Mental Health Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust Join our team as a Nursing Associate (Band 4) supporting physical health in inpatient mental health services across Bromley, Bexley, and Greenwich. This role offers a unique opportunity to promote physical and mental health parity and deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver physical health clinics within inpatient units. Perform physical health checks, including assessments using NEWS2, BMI, blood pressure, blood tests, and ECGs. Take medical histories, including lifestyle factors and screening program participation. Create personalized care plans and support ongoing physical health needs. Assist with physical health audits, equipment maintenance, and training colleagues in physical health interventions. Work independently under supervision, ensuring responsive, holistic patient care. Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Nursing Associate with competence in physical health assessments. Ability to undertake comprehensive assessments and record physiological measurements accurately. Knowledge of mental health legislation and policies on safety and lone working. Good communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
