We are seeking a skilled Scala Developer to join our team at DevOpsUK. As a Scala Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions for our public sector clients. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software solutions using Scala and related technologies
  • Work with project managers and clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
  • Collaborate with other developers to ensure code quality and maintainability
  • Write and maintain documentation for software solutions and processes
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Scala
  • Proficiency in Scala and related technologies (such as Akka, Play, and Cats)
  • Experience working in the public sector or on public sector projects is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
