Scala Dev (Senior)

Overview We are seeking a skilled Scala Developer to join our team at DevOpsUK. As a Scala Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions for our public sector clients. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality software solutions.Key Responsibilities Design and implement software solutions using Scala and related technologiesWork with project managers and clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needsCollaborate with other developers to ensure code quality and maintainabilityWrite and maintain documentation for software solutions and processesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processesQualifications Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science or a related field10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on ScalaProficiency in Scala and related technologies (such as Akka, Play, and Cats)Experience working in the public sector or on public sector projects is a plusStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWe are an equal opportunity employer and welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.
