Summary
This position assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in line with educational training. Responsible for adhering to all Standards of Nursing Practices and organizational policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Education from an accredited nursing school resulting in RN licensure
- Preferred experience in long-term care, rehab, or assisted living
- Current RN license in the state of employment
- IV Certification (required or willing to obtain within six months)
- CPR/AED Certification (required or willing to obtain within six months)
- Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with residents, visitors, and staff
- Strong time management and organizational skills
