Job Details Title: Advocate – September Start Location: Sharston, M22 4SN Salary: £27,000 per annum Type: Full time, Permanent Role Overview We are seeking talented Advocates to join our Advocacy department, which has a combined 60+ years of litigation experience. The team advocates for our other departments and collaborates with fee earners to achieve successful outcomes for clients. This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop advocacy skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Represent clients at hearings, including interlocutory applications, case management hearings, and infant approval hearings. Draft advices, pleadings, and skeleton arguments. Travel across England and Wales, which may involve overnight stays. What We Offer Opportunity to gain \’on your feet\’ litigation experience. Preparation for pupillage. Candidate Profile Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Fast learner with a sound working knowledge of CPR. Resilient, able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines. Proactive and flexible thinker. Academic requirements: minimum 2.1 degree and Very Competent/Distinction in BPC.
