This job is an exciting opportunity to join Sheffield City Council as an Operations and Development Officer in the Fire Safety Compliance team within the Housing Service. The role will support the service with fire safety across our Council homes, which include a diverse mix of high-rise flats, low-risk flats, older persons schemes, maisonettes, and other properties.
You will assist in maintaining our focus on fire safety in council homes, fire strategies, building compliance obligations, customer safety, and engagement. You will engage customers in the safe management of their properties and collaborate with stakeholders such as internal Local Authorities and Fire and Rescue Services. You'll ensure that quality and control measures are in place to provide a safe environment for staff and customers.
