About Your Role
- Lead and participate in interactions and workshops with clients
- Deliver high quality deliverables while working on complex projects, towards tight deadlines
- Engage stakeholders across multiple teams/organizations for technology delivery and business change
- Take ownership and solve unclear/ambiguous problem statements and complex technical issues
- Be a trusted advisor to the client on areas of focus
- Assist programme leadership in managing risks/issues and in managing the delivery
- Mentor and direct efforts within the project delivery team
- Contribute to firm development and practice development initiatives, e.g. innovation and learning
- Support leadership team on bids and pursuits
Requirements
- Have 6+ years of Utilities related experience
- Experience with the Utilities industry, across one of the sectors of Electricity, Gas or Water
- Experience within the Utilities industry value chain across Gas, Electricity and Water - Retail, Transmission and Distribution
- Experience of working on functional domains relevant to Utilities industry, such as CRM, EAM, FSM, ETRM, SCADA, GIS, Energy Management systems, Smart Metering etc.
- Understanding of emerging Utility business models such as Solar, E-mobility, hydrogen, energy storage etc.
- Have a broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, etc.
- Have experience in gathering, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating business requirements and information for a range of audiences
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Have knowledge of project management methodologies and Agile ways of working
- Have experience of designing, developing, and delivering projects through the full life cycle
- Have experience of working in large transformation programmes
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree with strong academic results in a relevant field, MBA (Tier 1)
- Relevant accreditation for Utilities industry
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE2 certification
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Knowledge of Agile ways of working
