We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Warehouse Operations Manager to lead and oversee all night shift warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflows, managing personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding safety standards during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience in a high-volume warehouse environment and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse night shift operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
- Manage, lead, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, team leads, and supervisors to meet or exceed performance expectations.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality standards.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, providing regular performance reports and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with day shift management to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency through lean initiatives and best practices.
- Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Address and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Coordinate with other departments such as logistics, procurement, and customer service to meet delivery deadlines and service level agreements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
