Equans, a member of the Bouygues global industrial group, specializes in energy and services, including design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Electrician with HV/LV AP qualifications to join our estates team at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. This permanent, full-time role involves working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technician for electrical building services installation and maintenance.
- Apply and share trade skills, including training team members.
- Ensure statutory obligations and maintenance tasks are completed within SLA and KPI standards.
- Perform testing and inspection to City & Guilds 2391 standards.
- Take on AP/RP roles as appropriate or with training.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Recognized electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant Level 3 qualifications.
- HV & LV AP qualified.
- Experience in building services, air handling, water hygiene; healthcare experience and medical gases are advantageous.
- Willingness to cross-skill.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
- Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures; formal training is a plus.
