ABOUT THE ROLE Our software team is responsible for developing and supporting applications that control the highly automated manufacturing processes, responsibilities include Developing logic that controls product flow through each workstation Developing machine interface and parameter control tools Production control, including bill of materials, engineering specification, recording test results Interfacing with our electronic business system, Oracle Processing production schedules Processing orders through to shipping Maintaining full product history Quality system controls Develop and support applications used in office processes. – Automate workflows – Eliminate waste by developing lean solutions – Developing end-to-end paperless processes Work and collaborate with software teams from other Copeland sites. – Standardise Cookstown processes with Copelands other manufacturing sites -Be part of global project teams – Research and implement best practice – Collaboratively test and deploy applications to production environments. Research latest technologies and implement where possible Participate in continuous improvement projects Participate in technical meetings to design, implement and review effective solutions HAVE I GOT WHAT IT TAKES Level 6 Qualification Degree in a Computer related discipline with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. 2 Years experience of developing in C#, .NET Knowledge of object oriented development methodologies MSSQL/SQL server experience would be an advantage Enthusiastic and self motivated with ability to demonstrate strong technical, analytical and organisational skills Good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office packages Knowledge of source control tools and concepts Previous experience of Oracle business systems would be an advantage **We reserve the right to enhance shortlisting criteria at the selection stage ** Closing date 12.00 noon on Friday 24 January 2025 Skills: C# Organisational Skills Technical Skills Analytical Skills Benefits: Onsite Gym cycle to work scheme Savings scheme pension Healthcare Cash Plan Life assurance subsidized canteen
