We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused Assistant Management Accountant to join our expanding finance team. If you’re part-qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA / AAT) and eager to grow your career within a premium automotive retail group, this is your opportunity to drive forward with Vines.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting in the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts
- Posting journals, including accruals, prepayments and payroll
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and analysing variances
- Supporting departmental managers with financial insights and reporting
- Helping with budget preparation, forecasting, VAT returns and year-end processes
- Managing cash flow reporting and supporting working capital control
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and helping improve internal systems and processes
As you develop within the role, you will take full responsibility for the Redhill branch accounts, gaining valuable end-to-end exposure and playing a key part in the ongoing financial performance of the site.
What you’ll bring:
- A proactive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
- Part-qualified or actively studying CIMA, ACCA, ACA or AAT
- 1–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role (automotive experience is a plus)
- Solid Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain financial data simply and effectively
- Familiarity with Keyloop (Kerridge) or similar DMS software is an advantage
- A full UK driving licence
