Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer visits within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential clients and decision makers within the client organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Arrange meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
  • Plan approaches and pitches.
  • Collaborate with a team to develop proposals that address the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Use various styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
  • Maintain client retention.
  • Present new products and services and strengthen existing relationships.
  • Work with technical staff and internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

Management and Research

  • Develop and maintain a database of key stakeholders and contacts to boost sales opportunities weekly.
  • Submit weekly progress reports on the database and ensure data accuracy.
  • Ensure data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management systems.
  • Forecast sales targets and work towards achieving them.
  • Understand the company’s goals and purpose to continually enhance performance.

Education

  • Position requires a bachelor’s degree and sales or marketing experience.
  • Experience in social leadership or intra-college leadership is a plus.
  • Preferred Degrees: B.Sc IT, M.Sc IT, BMS.
