Your Team: The Portfolio Management (PM) team have a global presence managing ETFs passively across equity, fixed income and alternatives.
What we are looking for:
- Portfolio Management and Fiduciary Oversight: the daily portfolio management functions of an ETF such as creating an optimal portfolio which effectively tracks the index in a cost-efficient manner. This includes:
- Working closely with PM analysts and traders to implement & monitor day-to-day fund management such as primary market orders, corporate action and cash/futures management
- Leveraging proprietary technology to optimise indices to make portfolio construction recommendations for optimised/sampled funds
- Maintaining oversight of our index partners that underly Invesco ETF’s, as well as maintaining a view of the mandates, changes, and rebalance cycles across passive indexes around the globe
- Developing, directing, and documenting policies, procedures, and processes related to portfolio management and index optimisation
What you can bring:
- Relevant industry experience
- Previous PM experience is not required but strong analytical & coding skills with a solid understanding of how ETFs are managed are essential
- In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of equity ETFs
- Has the mindset of a business owner by taking the initiative of growing the business and improving practices continuously
- Aware of the ETF competitive landscape and innovation
- Initiative and independent judgement is required to search out appropriate course of action within and outside the context of established policies and procedures
- Able to communicate effectively and lead projects with various stakeholders both internally and externally
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field is preferred. and/or CFA charter holder desired
