Role Overview: The Business-to-Business Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing Sales opportunities, activities, and channels with a variety of partnership organizations to deliver ambitious customer growth targets across our Domestic customer base. Key Responsibilities: Deliver Operating Plans to recruit new Domestic Sales opportunities and partnerships. Look for growth opportunities through Business to Business partnerships. Manage key business drivers, including KPI’s, Cost, Retained/Gained Volumes, Customer Numbers, and budgets. Ensure sales targets and objectives are met, in line with the Sales Plan. Provide guidance and support to businesses contracting with ScottishPower for Domestic sales. Initiate and complete complex negotiations to win business from industry competitors. Account management of partners, reviewing performance and recommending resolution plans. Establish reporting and controls for ongoing monitoring of performance. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory commitments. Lead and motivate your team, influencing employee turnover and retention. Manage controllable costs within agreed budget constraints. What You’ll Bring: Strong influencing and stakeholder management ability. Highly numerate and analytical. Commercially focused with an understanding of margin optimization. Sales-focused with a strong understanding of customer engagement. Line management experience in Sales, Business or Project Management. In-depth understanding of Outsourced Sales and external Call Centre operations. Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant numerical discipline. Knowledge of the Smart Meter install programme.
