Description\\n\\nJob Type: Full Time, Permanent Salaried Role  \\n\\nNo teaching experience required – full training, support and development provided.  \\n\\nSalary: £26,000 per annum with the potential to progress up to £31,000 per annum. \\n\\nCompany Bonus Scheme: £1,500 per annum based on your performance & company performance. OTE earnings for year 1: £27,500.\\n\\nHoliday: 11+ weeks paid holiday a year.

 \\n\\nThe Role  \\n\\nDeliver fun and inspiring music lessons in a rock and pop band setting in up to 10 primary schools per week. \\n\\nBe a rock star role model, empowering and supporting children in primary schools to deliver live performances at termly concerts. \\n\\nOffer children their first opportunity to play an instrument to develop their confidence, resilience, and well-being through performing in a band. \\n\\nBe the face of Rocksteady, building strong relationships with schools, teachers, and parents. \\n\\nHighly active role; from loading and setting up band equipment multiple times a day to delivering lessons with energy and enthusiasm. \\n\\nSkills and Experience  \\n\\nDriving Licence and own transport required \\n\\nBe a multi-instrumentalist – competent on at least 2 of the following instruments; drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, and vocals. \\n\\nBe passionate about teaching (we provide extensive training and support). \\n\\nAbility to work in a way that promotes the safety and well-being of children and young people. \\n\\nExcellent communication and social skills with both children and adults. \\n\\nBe outgoing, confident, and approachable  \\n\\nBe a strong independent worker with great time management skills. \\n\\nHave excellent administration skills and attention to detail. \\n\\nHigh level of integrity and resilience. \\nWe appreciate that previous experience does not always tell the full story so don’t rule yourself out if you feel you don’t tick all of the boxes. \\n\\nBenefits  \\n\\nFull-time salary position (Monday – Friday daytime only) \\n\\nFuel contribution – 45p per business mile \\n\\n11 weeks + paid holiday per year  \\n\\nAnnual staff bonus – £1,500 per annum \\n\\nFull training in our progressive teaching methodologies. \\n\\nBenefits package including discounts on everyday purchases, free 24/7 GP service and more. \\n\\nEmployee discount at nationwide music instrument retailers \\n\\nA positive and welcoming work environment with celebratory staff away-days, Christmas parties and opportunities to socialise with other like-minded musicians. \\n\\nOpportunities to work with the Rocksteady Foundation, reaching children and young people in charities and support groups across the UK. \\n\\nOur Mission  \\n\\nRocksteady is the largest rock school in the world and our mission is simple – To empower as many children as possible and transform their lives through progressive and inclusive music education which directly improves their wellbeing, confidence, and life skills.  \\n\\n‘WINNER – Hampshire Business of the Year Award 2023’ \\n\\nAdditional Information\\nWe are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and expect all our staff to share this commitment. \\n\\nAs this role involves regular work with children and young people, and meets the definition of regulated activity, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
