We recognise that our people are the heart of our success and only by identifying, supporting and promoting them will we be able to provide continued outstanding client service.\\n\\nCandidates are required to have:\\n\\nRTPI and/or RICS (P&D) accredited qualification;\\n * Recently qualified or will be due to qualify soon (MRTPI);\\n * 1-3 years planning experience;\\n * Strong verbal and written communication skills;\\n * Excellent report writing ability;\\n * Keen interest in planning and development;\\n * An ability to negotiate effectively;\\n * Excellent experience of communication and client interfacing skills;\\n * Excellent presentation skills;\\n * Strong attention to detail;\\n * High service delivery skills;\\n * Excellent communicator, both written and verbal;\\n * Self-motivated;\\n * Committed and organised;\\n * Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages. \\n\\nWhat does the role involve?\\n\\nPreparing advice to clients;\\n * Working with team members on developing planning strategies, preparing programmes and reviewing information;\\n * Drafting or reviewing reports, co-ordinating the preparation and submission of planning applications/ appeals/ representations;\\n * Identifying new business opportunities, assisting in firm-wide business development and preparing fee proposals;\\n * Developing individual client base and part generating own workload;\\n * Providing planning advice to clients and attending meetings;\\n * Responsible for maintaining continuing professional development;\\n * Any additional duties as reasonably requested.
