We are actively recruiting for a Shipping Manager to join this fast paced Watford based company.

Day to day duties include:

  • Working closely with the factory to ensure that orders are sent correctly and in a timely fashion.
  • Utilising your shipping knowledge to have the best processes/procedures for the shipping of goods.
  • Develop relationships across the company to ensure that timelines are met in a calm and methodical manner.
  • Responsible for checking prices on new orders sent.
  • Arrange paperwork for FOB shipments.
  • Look at overall potential cost savings that can be made by reviewing processes.
  • Reporting to one of the Directors.

You will utilise your substantial knowledge of the shipping sector to organise logistics/shipping. You do not have any direct reports so need to be self contained. You will have excellent negotiation skills, be proactive, have a strong eye for detail, and can overall build long standing relationships.

In return the company offer a salary of £45,000 to £50,000pa plus bonus and a number of benefits.

This role is office based Monday to Friday.
