Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in St. Albans.
Role Purpose
- Lead the preparation and delivery of year-end annual financial reports.
- Ensure accurate and compliant financial accounting across the organisation.
- Support the Head of Finance with day-to-day financial operations and key projects.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the production of annual statutory accounts and financial statements.
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Work closely with auditors and act as the main point of contact during audits.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to support decision-making across the organisation.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).
- Strong background in financial accounting, with experience leading on year-end annual reports.
- Excellent technical knowledge of accounting standards and statutory reporting.
- Experience using financial systems - knowledge of Iplicit would be highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full rights to work in the UK.
