We’re looking for a professional, proactive, and driven Specification Business Development Manager to help grow our brand across the architecture, design, and commercial interiors sectors.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for promoting and specifying premium water systems into commercial projects through close collaboration with architects, designers, fit-out firms, and end-user clients. From initial engagement to project delivery, you’ll manage relationships and drive new opportunities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Specification Business Development Manager:
- Promote and generate specifications by showcasing our product range to architects, designers, and fit-out companies.
- Support commercial end-user projects from initial brief to final installation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and maintain accurate project records using CRM systems (Dynamics).
- Deliver engaging CPD presentations to clients and industry bodies.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Provide excellent account management and customer service to existing clients.
- Maintain a rolling pipeline of short-, medium-, and long-term projects to meet sales targets.
- Regularly report on area performance, client feedback, and product insights.
Ideal Candidate Profile of the Specification Business Development Manager:
- Background in specification or technical sales, preferably within kitchen, bathroom, interiors, or commercial fit-out industries.
- Strong presentation skills, with confidence delivering CPDs and client pitches.
- Familiar with CRM and ERP systems (Dynamics preferred).
- Able to manage time, priorities, and client engagements independently.
- Self-starter with a results-driven, professional mindset.
