About the Role

We are currently representing a leading specialist subcontractor delivering complex external envelope works across London and the Southeast. Their core focus includes façade systems, rainscreen cladding, and fire safety remediation. They are currently looking for an experienced Façade Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team and support the successful delivery of high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost plans, budgets, and detailed financial forecasts.
  • Measure and value works, including change control and variation analysis.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, payment applications, and final accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms (JCT/NEC) and maintain accurate commercial records.
  • Liaise with internal project managers, estimators, and external stakeholders.
  • Attend client/site meetings and provide timely commercial updates.
  • Support risk and opportunity management throughout project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in façades, cladding, or external envelopes.
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of rainscreen systems, curtain walling, EWI, or LSF.
  • Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and reporting skills.
  • Confident working under pressure and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Bluebeam, Candy, or other QS tools desirable.
  • CSCS card preferred; SMSTS/SSSTS beneficial.
