We are seeking a passionate and talented Tech Advisor to help guide our talented full-stack developer. Role Description This is a part-time, advisory role offering a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth of an early-stage startup. You will play a crucial role in shaping our technical direction and fostering the professional development of a key team member. Role Responsibilities Mentorship: Provide regular one-on-one mentorship to our full-stack developer, focusing on technical skills development, best practices, architectural guidance, and career growth. Technical Guidance: Offer expert advice on technology choices, system design, code reviews, and development processes. Problem Solving: Assist in tackling complex technical challenges and provide strategic solutions. Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance. Best Practices: Champion and promote the adoption of software development best practices within the team. Strategic Input: Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap of the company. Knowledge Sharing: Share your expertise and insights through workshops, presentations, or informal discussions. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development. Qualifications Extensive experience (10+ years preferred) in software development, with a strong background in full-stack development (both front-end and back-end). Proven experience in a technical leadership or mentorship role. Deep understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and teaching. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
