Airlines Analyst

Position within the Valuations and Consulting department, reporting to the Airlines Manager. Responsible for researching, analysing, and updating airline data, commentaries and forecasts for the IBA Insight Airlines product, focusing on financial, operational, and jurisdictional information to assess risk on behalf of our clients Job Summary: IBA is an award-winning and leading independent aviation consultancy advising a broad mix of lessors, operators, financiers, and investors. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Consulting team as an Airlines Analyst. In this role, the successful applicant will contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the IBA Insight Airlines product, providing clients with up-to-date and accurate airline profiles, including financial, operational, and jurisdictional data. Key Responsibilities: Research and update airline profiles within the IBA Insight Airlines platform, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial, operational, and jurisdictional information. Analyse airline financial statements, operational metrics, and jurisdictional factors to assess risk and provide insights to clients. Collaborate with the Airlines Manager and other team members to identify and prioritise updates and enhancements to airline data. Monitor industry news and developments to ensure the IBA Insight Airlines product reflects current market conditions. Assist in the development of methodologies for risk assessment and data analysis within the platform. Support client inquiries related to airline data and provide explanations or additional information as needed. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection and analysis processes Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor\’s degree in a relevant field such as Air Transport Management, Economics, Finance, or Data Science. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis tools such as Python or Tableau is advantageous. Understanding of airline financial statements and operational metrics. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated interest in the aviation industry Advantageous Experience: Experience in aviation consulting or a related field. Familiarity with the IBA Insight Airlines platform or similar aviation data tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
